every course i want to play is listed.others you have to e mail and they will map for you this is not the case i cant imagine golf without it stop looking for yardage markers you have all you need nowyou can down load 10 courses at once.
It is accurate most of the time. I have found it to be a reliable performer.
Cons; The only real issue I have is battery replacement- about 3 rounds. Now the question is, are you good enough to land those distances.
I have used this all summer. When accuracy is questionable yardage markers prevail, but those issues don't come up too often.
Otherwise, a very good product at a very good price Pros; It gives front, back, and middle green distances.
Courses get updated regularly, and it does speed up play.
IT BTTERY NEEDS REPLACING ON AN AVERAGE OF 2 ROUNDS.DEPENDS ON QUALITY I THINK. THE GOLFLOGIX 2007 SINCE I RECIEVED THE UNIT.I HAVE USED IT ON 4 GOLF COURSES.THE DISTANCE IS VERY TRUE.I REALLY ENJOY USING IT.
The technician was competent and patient. They analyzed the problem as having something to do with my Windows XP. On the first course the unit failed miserably, giving me a yardage of 980 yards off the first tee. After the fix, the unit has been working flawlessly on my home course. The same thing happened on three other courses in California. I bought a GolfLogix GPS, based on positive reviews.
(I live in Hawaii). They gave me a number to call to have a technician walk me through the process of installing a software update. Initially, I downloaded only my home course (for free) to test the unit. Needless to say, I was very disappointed and upset.When I returned to Hawaii, I contacted GolfLogix Customer Support. I can't wait to take it on another trip to the mainland. It worked quite well, although there were a few glitches, which I fixed with a reset.I then subscibed to the download service and downloaded a number of course in preparation for a golf outing to the US mainland.
I could not even turn the unit off without removing one of the batteries.
It shows the distance to hazards, etc between t and green.I uses batteries faster than I expected The download software is user friendly.
